About dr. camden brown

I am…

A mother of two magical, magnetic children

A former orthodontic practice owner who sold my office after 8 years and then worked at a flower farm to reset. After testing out several ways of practicing orthodontics, I found a setting that works

Multifaceted and multipassionate

A coach for people who want more from life…

more beauty, play, creativity, joy, and fun!

A nature lover who listens to the whispers of the trees

An eternal optimist who believes we are all already whole

A creative who enjoys getting lost in my work

Above all, a person who believes in the good of our world

My story

For Years, I Climbed the Mountain

By 30, I was a Harvard graduate, orthodontic practice owner, homeowner, and new mom.

I was exhausted.

Every day felt like a race.

Rushing from home to work and back again, I barely had time to catch my breath. I missed key moments with my kids, felt anxious, and lived in a state of overwhelm.

I felt stretched too thin.

I loved all the roles, but not all of them at once…business owner, doctor, mom, wife.

By the time I got home, I felt like a shell of a person, emotionally drained, with nothing left to give my family.

I didn’t want to wake up one day with my kids grown and realize I’d missed it all.

In 2021, I made a decision to sell my practice and reset.

I didn’t know if I was making the right decision, but, when I got still, the message inside of me was so very clear.

My first job after selling my orthodontic practice was working on a daffodil farm…

Picking daffodils in the soft morning light.

It was magical, a stark contrast to my clinical role.

I wondered, “Who am I beyond my white coat?”

Slowly, I started peeling away the layers of stress and expectations. I let go of unnecessary tasks, reconnected with my emotions, and slowed down. For the first time in a long time, I felt present again.

Through this process, I began to rediscover who I was outside of orthodontics. I reconnected with creativity and developed vibrant interests.

I found a new love in coaching.

I found a new love in painting and creating art.

I rekindled my love for orthodontics, in a way I’d never experienced before my sabbatical.

Now, I hold space for them all, and help guide others to do the same.

Coach, artist, orthodontist, mom, gardener, explorer

These days, I work part-time in clinical orthodontics, focusing on early invention and integrative care.

On my days away from the clinic, I paint florals and landscapes inspired by the beauty around me.

I coach people who want to unfold…who want to feel more and experience more from this magical life.
